Since completing high school she travelled to Ireland to work in her large riding school and stables, where she worked for four months. She has also completed two internships within vet practices observing medical procedures and assisting with cleaning and other simple tasks.
Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Her aim is here in Australia is to broaden her skills and experience in as many equine sectors as possible with a view to informing and educating her for her career as an equine vet assistant or vet.

She lived in a rural area and has been brought up around horses, with very regular attendance at riding school.
Her family also keeps a few chickens at home. She enjoys working with animals and completing the routines around them.

Has been riding at her riding club at home since age 12, at least once or twice each week. Has gained good experience of riding in all disciplines including dressage, jumping, and various stable work including grooming, tacking up lunging and hacking in the forests.
She also worked for a significant period of time at Brennanstown riding school in Ireland, gaining further skill in all aspects of day-to-day activities of a large riding school and riding 4 days per week and learning jumping.
She loves all things equine and equestrian and is very keen to learn more, particularly on the vet side of horse care, as this will be her career.
Driving & vehicles
Full driving licence for one year, experience driving manual and automatic.
Has her licence for driving with a twin axle trailer (no experience yet), and 50+ hours of riding a manual motorbike

A little childcare experience, but nothing significant or regular. However she enjoys being with young people.
