Liz is from Baden-Württemberg in south-western Germany.
She completed high school in June 2024 and has qualified for university. Her aim is to start an apprenticeship as a paramedic.
Employment History
Her work history includes work as a waitress and a kitchen assistant part-time for the last three years, and for the last two months she has been working full-time as a production worker in a magazine printing company.
In her spare time she is a passionate volunteer firefighter and has undertaken several courses and a lot of time volunteering with this organisation. This is what has led her to want to become a paramedic.
She has also completed a short period of scientific work experience in forestry.
Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Liz is open to all roles and types of job. She is particularly interested in working with horses or general farm work with sheep. Her main aim is to develop new skills and prove she can adapt quickly to be useful to her employer.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
Liz comes from a rural part of south-western Germany. She doesn’t have specific farm experience but she’s been brought up helping in the garden, chopping and fetching firewood from the forest, walking her dogs firewood in the forest preparing firewood.
Equine / equestrian
she considers herself a beginner to intermediate rider. She has written horses recreationally from age 7 to 14 but has not had the opportunity to ride since then. She took part in horse riding summer camps as a child which included a fair amount of stable work. She loved all parts of it and is very work with horses for some or part of her job should the opportunity arise.
Driving & vehicles
Liz has a full manual and automatic driving licence for one year. Considers herself a confident and competent driver. This has included driving minibuses with the firefighting team.
She has basic manual motorbike riding experience and has also driven go-karts.
Practical skills / trade skills
Volunteer firefighter with SCBA qualification (oxygen tank) , metal working basics, has been trained to dismantle cars for fire service purposes using hydraulics scissors and other demolition tools.
She also has particularly good all-round computer skills.
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
she is confident in the kitchen, extensively cooking for herself and family but also from working in the restaurant for three years mostly preparing cold dishes and serving customers as a waitress.
She has a little childcare experience looking after local children in the neighbourhood. She is very happy to this but does not consider herself particularly experienced yet.

customer service experience from three years part-time in a restaurant.
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Liz is very passionate about her hobbies and hence enters into things with 100% energy and enthusiasm.
She greatly enjoys the volunteer firefighting, takes part in free diving, rock and indoor climbing and particularly keen on all things vehicles and motorsport.
She has also enjoyed karate, dancing, and in quieter moments reading and art.
