His main aim is to build skills and get experience of the Australian farm work environment.
(He hopes to be joined at some stage in the future, several months from now, by his girlfriend who is a qualified nurse to travel and possibly to work together in Australia)

Jelle is from the Netherlands / Holland
Jelle completed a 3 year vocational training as a gardener, (four days work one day study).
He has been working full-time in a gardening / landscaping company since then.
Employment History
He has worked since age 13. His first jobs were delivering leaflets, working in a camping shop, and in a restaurant. He worked for two years in one of the largest and award-winning camping sites in Holland as part of the ground and estates team, then moved to a gardening contracts company where he has worked and completed his studies for the last four years.
He has a total of six years working in gardening and landscaping.
He has also briefly studied as a fitness trainer, but this made him realise that he wanted to be involved in gardening, landscape and manual work.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
No particular farm experience, except his family has a few alpacas as a hobby.
Equine / equestrian
No experience with horses.
Driving & vehicles
Full manual driving licence for five years. Very confident driver, used to driving Mercedes sprinter vans plus trailers, lots of experience reversing trailers. Lots of experience of mowers, loaders and other groundskeeping equipment and machinery. Keen motorbike rider, has been riding his own Kawasaki 800cc road bike for two years
some experience of quad / ATV
Practical skills / trade skills
A wide range of practical skills including making fences, swimming pools, terraces, plants, hedge cutting, retaining walls, etc etc
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Capable of cooking for himself and family
Hospitality and customer service
No particular hospitality experience but some experience of customer service from the camping grounds
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Loves riding his motorbike and fishing with friends (pike and bass).
Go to the gym regularly, and follows his local football team, PSV Eindhoven

Good English, polite, direct and to the point. Straightforward and no-nonsense approach.
Good communicator, and a ready sense of humour.
