Possible future plans to remain in Australia and is considering qualifying as a carpenter
Employment History
He has worked completing both hard and soft landscaping works on a number of different projects and builds, completing tasks from the initial ground works to the finishing touches, such as planting and general garden maintenance. Also worked as a forklift and van driver for a garden centre. Volunteered at weekends to work at local riding stables, mucking out and leading horses in lessons.
2015 – 2016 – Diamond Horse Riding Centre – general stable work as a volunteer working on Saturdays (6 months)
2018 – 2019 – Hunters Estate Agents – Real Estate Agent - property sales and rental negotiation, substituted for manager, learned to operate in target driven pressured markets and helped train new members of the team. (60 hours / week)
2020 – PRT Carpentry – worked as a carpentry labourer (Part time - 2 days per week)
Part time labourer assisting multiple trades on small conversion and building alteration projects.
2020 - 2021 - Dobbies at Woodcote Green Garden Centre - Landscaping Team responsible for the replenishment and running of the drive-through aggregates department. Customer service role included working outside in all weathers carrying heavy landscaping materials and supplies to the customers/trades persons vehicles, and processing payments. Was responsible for maintaining stock levels, using a forklift truck to transport goods from the stockyard to the drive-through area.
2023 – 2024 – Studio Windsor Landscaping – Groundworks incl. hard and soft landscaping, general building, operating machinery such as diggers, mixers, forklifts and dumpers. Tasks range from paving, fencing, decking, outdoor kitchens and decorative structures, Laying blockwork, Digging, Demolition, Cladding, working with wood, metal and stone, working with handheld power tools, Labouring, Planting, Setting out to design plans
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
Is keen to develop skills working with livestock in particular cattle or sheep.
Has plenty of ground work experience that would easily transfer to farming jobs.
Equine / equestrian
Novice horse rider, however is very keen to improve on these skills whilst in Australia.
Previously volunteered at a horse riding school for children with special needs and frequently led horses in their riding lessons.
Volunteered for six months at a horse riding school for children with special needs stop task included mucking out stables, tack and equipment maintenance, leading horses in riding lessons, or horse grooming.
Driving & vehicles
6 years Manual licence.
Extensive experience driving forklifts, motorcycles, diggers, dumper trucks, track dumpers, quad bikes, transit vans. As a counter balance forklift licence.
