Sam is 19 from Cambridgeshire in the UK. He completed High School in 2024.
Deferred university to travel in Australia, Plans to study a Bachelor in film and television in September 2025
​Earned a leadership role in the Army Cadet Corps in the UK - 4.5years

Employment History
Has a varied working history with experience in a good range of practical and interpersonal tasks. 
His roles have included lifeguard work, safety supervision, cafe worker, manual labourer: garden clearance, landscaping, fence erecting, hedge removal, painting, cement laying and pub.
 
2023 – 2024 – various labouring jobs,
Landscaping – levelling, concrete work, slab laying, removal of waste, ground work.(weekends)
Hedge work – tree and hedge removal (Using chainsaws and winches), putting up fences
Garden furniture restoration
2022 – 2024 – lifeguard and supervisor at an indoor pool in the UK, also assisted in the coffee shop (Part time - 21 hours per week)
2024 – Bartender at a local pub serving drinks, customer service and cleaning (Part Time - 30 hours per week)
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Farm / Livestock
limited farm experience, has spent some time working on an allotment in a vegetable garden, weeding, planting, attending, harvesting vegetables, groundwork. Prove to himself that he enjoys this type of thing and enjoys getting his hands dirty. 
 
Equine / equestrian
Novice horse rider - eager to learn more
Has assisted with basic mucking out and feeding of horses from age 15 onwards for a family member who rides and owns horses. 
 
Driving & vehicles 
Driving for 2 years and license for 1 year in a manual vehicle. Considers himself a confident driver.
Small amount of experience riding a quad bike
 
Practical skills / trade skills
Has used some power tools including a chainsaw, and other hand tools for tree removal, internal and external painting of buildings, basic pushbike maintenance also, and enjoys working out simple mechanical tasks. 
Has completed first-aid training. 

Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Learned to cook in home economics at school and prepared for university by completing a cooking course.
Actively assisted at home with washing up, ironing, cleaning, vacuuming, washing clothes.
Worked as a tutor helping children with their literacy at school, and fairly regularly has been babysitting siblings and cousins. 
 
Hospitality and customer service
Bartender – serving food and drinks, customer service, cleaning
Leisure assistant as part of a lifeguard role, worked in the coffee shop.
 
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Plays guitar, enjoys filmmaking (planning future career in this field),
Swimming, running, reading, socialising with friends, previously a boy scout for 6 years and more recently a member of the Army cadets for four and half years, in which he gained leadership roles.

Fluent English, resilient, problem solver, caring, good leadership and communication skills, friendly. 
Socially confident, quiet, a ready and gentle sense of humour. 
 
FITNESS: Good overall fitness, 173cm & 67.2kg

Occasionally gets hayfever (this is easily managed with medication)
