Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Her aims are to gain more experience and skills with horses, and to save money for further travels in Australia after approximately six months of work.
Back Home
Daisy is from Hamburg in North Germany.
She is travelling with her friend Bente, also keen horsewoman, and they are keen to find work together.
Daisy has qualified for university entrance and is considering studying Film or media, but like Bente, she is planning to apply to join the police.
Employment History
Her work history includes work as a cleaning crew at a physiotherapist business, work as a general assistant at a riding stable, babysitting, dog walking, and also working as a tutor helping 10 year old students with their English.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
Just a little experience of farm work from occasional visits to friends, helping with horses, sheep and a few other ad hoc tasks such as collecting stones from the field on an occasional basis.
Equine / equestrian
Intermediate to advanced horse rider. Daisy has been riding since age 6, has been involved with and around the stables throughout that time and more recently has been working as a team general assistant on summer children's riding camps.
She has been a regular assistant at the stables for the last 3 to 4 years.
Daisy is familiar with all day-to-day stable work tasks. Being tall and strong / physically fit she enjoys and is good at this type of work.
Driving & vehicles
Manual, has driving licence for 11 months. Considers herself a good / confident driver. Some experience of driving small tractors and scooters.
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Capable of cooking for herself, and good with domestic duties.
Confident around children especially young teenagers from her experience at church camps and horseriding summer camps.
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Enjoys football, guitar, horse riding, leading children at summer camps.
Personal
Excellent English, she lived in America for 3 years
calm, composed and attentive manner. Polite, quiet and friendly.
FITNESS:
Tall, fit, relatively physically strong.
Enjoys practical and physical tasks and being outside., 176cm & 65.5kg
DIET / MEDICAL:
Normal diet, no medical conditions
