Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Her aims are to gain more experience and skills with horses, and to save money for further travels in Australia after approximately six months of work.
Back Home
Bente is from Hamburg in N Germany.
She is travelling with her friend Daisy, and they are hoping to work together
Bente completed high school in 2024. She is qualified for University, has considered studying industrial engineering but her plan is currently to apply to study to join the police in autumn 2025.
Employment History
Her work experience includes loads of ongoing part-time stable work over the last 10 years, and as a counsellor and general assistant at children's horse camps every summer for the last six years.
More recently she completed two months of volunteer work as part of a team helping to deliver social and educational retreat programmes, linked to her church.
She has also worked as a babysitter looking after children aged 8 to 10 on a regular basis.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Equine / equestrian
An intermediate to advanced level horse rider.
Keen horsewoman who has been riding since age 4, with weekly lessons, participation in summer riding camps, arena, trail and forest, riding school, some dressage and jumping and experience of riding lots of different horses.
Moderate experience of stable work, feeding, cleaning, mucking out et cetera.
Driving & vehicles
Manual, driving licence for one year.
Considers herself a confident driver. A few hours experience on a garden tractor.
Practical skills / trade skills
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Enjoys helping in the kitchen, and an okay cook. Not yet confident cooking for loads of others. Used to helping with domestic work as well.
Fair experience of looking after children especially young teenagers, on church and other summer camps.
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Enjoys dance (ballet since age 3), horseback riding, choir, leading children's groups, soccer and running.
Personal
Good English, well mannered, socially confident, friendly and chatty.
Especially good with children, and having an eye open for other people's needs.
FITNESS:
Tall, fit and strong. Looking forward to an active physical role., 180cm & 74kg

Normal diet, no medical conditions.
