Work in Australia so far
Here in Australia Philo has worked for a high end dressage stable, looking after approx 60 horses for the last 2.5 months.
She has enjoyed the job and the people greatly, and done well, but now wishes to move on so she can work with her best friend LAURA, also a horsewoman, who has recently arrived in the country.
The range of my tasks was pretty wide, but my main tasks included feeding the horses in the morning, at lunchtime, in the afternoon and at night. It was a huge responsability, espescially when David and his family left for holiday for two weeks and I had to take care of the horses and make sure they are fed, healthy and happy, but I handeled it very well. Furthermore, I got horses ready to ride, I put them away, cleaned gear, kept the stable area clean and of course I cleaned the yards, paddocks and stables.
Apart from those basic tasks I helped wherever help was needed, wether helping the vet or the farrier, medicating horses or helping loading yearlings, foals, and other horses.
Thats just a small insight into my duties ans responsabilities as everyday was different and so my taks were never exactly the same, which made the work a lot of fun :)
Hoping for (in the next job)
The chance to work with her best friend Laura, and to work with / around horses
NOT ESSENTIAL, but if possible work with other livestock too, and have some chance to ride a bit (in freetime or work)

She completed High School in 2024, has qualified for University and has future plans to study psychology at University.
Employment History
Delivered newspapers for 2 years, worked in a bakery for over a year, was a waitress in a restaurant.
13-15 years - Worked as a newspaper delivery person (1 day a week)
15-16 years – Worked in a bakery and customer service (6-12 hours / week)
18 years – Waitress at a pizzeria restaurant (15 hours / week)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Equine / equestrian
Intermediate - Advanced horse rider. Has been riding from age 9.
She has been involved in a variety of riding areas including vaulting, dressage, jumping, English and Western riding. Her favourite horse riding is within nature cross-country.
Has participated in some small horse competitions including vaulting.
Has worked on many farms / stables with horses for for many years and is passionate about horses.
Has been working in the stables since she began riding at age 9.
Plenty of experience cleaning stables, maintaining saddles and bridles, feeding horses, changing water troughs, and caring for the horses. Would often wash the horses groom them and move them from pasture to stables. Is also comfortable with lunging horses.
Driving & vehicles
1 year with manual licence. Can also drive motorbike and tractor.
Practical skills / trade skills
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Confident cook and enjoys cooking for herself family and friends and particularly enjoys trying new recipes.
Has two younger siblings and has cared for them for many years.
During her time participating in gymnastics she often trained small children to use the apparatus equipment for gymnastics. Enjoys working with children.
Hospitality and customer service
Has worked as a waitress, enjoys customer service and working with people is very friendly and talkative.
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Gymnastics, sports, staying fit, track and field including athletics, and of course horseriding.

Very good English, personable and friendly, social, eager to learn new things and a quick learner, doesn't give up easily.
