LEO, 23, MALE,  FRANCE
4 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN A THOROUGHBRED HORSE STUD IN AUSTRALIA (GOOD REFERENCE FROM EMPLOYER AVAILABLE)PROFESSIONAL DIETICIAN AND BAKERY SERVER / BARISTA. HAS A PASSION FOR CLEANING. POTENTIAL FOR A RANGE OF ROLES, BUT ESPECIALLY KEEN ON DOMESTIC / GENERAL ASSISTANT ROLE ANY GENERAL FARM ROLE, RURAL HOSPITALITY, DOMESTIC OR GENERAL ASSISTANT ROLE
TRAVELLING WITH HIS FRIEND LARRY WHO IS A VERY KEEN COOK 

Will be in Australia for 12 months,
Looking to work for 3 months initially, and ideally would like work with his friend Larry available from approx. 07/05/2025

Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Leo's motivation is to expand his skills and experience into new areas. He realises he has a lot to learn and also has to work on his communication. But he is willing and committed and hopes for an opportunity.
He may be willing to volunteer initially to prove himself and gain some initial relevant experience.

In Australia
His main tasks were to clean all the common areas as well as the houses for the departures and arrivals of new employees plus versatile driver at the request of his employer (running errands, picking up new employees and dropping them off) finally on weekends, He maintained the enclosures by collecting horse droppings.

Back Home
Leo is from Aix en Provence in southern France.
He has completed high school and subsequently two years qualification as a dietician/food scientist.
 
Employment History
His work history for the last two years since graduation includes work as a bakery barista, (full-time six months)  a bakery salesperson, (20 hours per week for one year ),  collective / mass catering intern (one month), real estate intern for 1 month.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Farm / Livestock
His grandparents have a small hobby farm; he has always enjoyed helping out there, especially with horticultural tasks, and also smaller farm and domestic animals; chickens et cetera.
 
Equine / equestrian
No experience with horses at this point. Keen to learn

Driving & vehicles 
Has a full manual driving licence for two years. Considers himself a confident driver. Otherwise just a little experience on scooter.
 
Practical skills / trade skills
 
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Considers himself a good all-round cook; having to cook for himself and for friends.
Enjoys domestic work - Is very keen on cleaning; loves to clean things.
Some experience of childcare looking after his young cousin age 7.
 
Hospitality and customer service
Retail customer service experience from the bakery and bakery/barista work.
 
Hobbies, other skills and interests
His interests and hobbies are nature, travelling (he has travelled widely in Europe) and also has a keen interest in environmental and ecological / sustainability.
 
Personal
Low level of English. His understanding is better than his spoken English.
But not yet ready for complex instructions in English.
 
FITNESS: He has not yet experienced hard physical labour in an outdoors environment, but is used to working on his feet and keeping active, especially in his bakery role. 'It was the cleanest bakery in France', 180cm & 63kg
