Monica has pent the last 2 months travelling and exploring Australia, and is now looking to work or volunteer in (ideally) a farm, ag tourism and animal care environment.
Is happy to volunteer, but hopes to find an environment which can provide food and accommodation in return.
Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Monica is planning a career change to an Ag tourism / animal care environment, and so aims to build up relevant experience in all possible ways. Keen to gain experience working with animals in a farm environment or vet practice.

Completed High School in 2007
Completed a professional training certificate for hotel operations in reception in 2010
Completed one year with a Bachelor of Public Relations
Very keen for future work with animals of all kinds
Employment History
Worked as a puppy yoga coordinator, hostess, SPA receptionist, assistant event project manager, event coordinator, coordinator of hosts/hostesses, luxury cruise passenger boarding, and salesperson.
2011 to 2012 – Worked in customer service (check-in) for a passenger cruise check-in terminal during the summer season
2012 to 2013 – Worked extensively in event project management on projects including the Grand Prix, the Canne Film Festival and many hospitality venues for high-end events.
2014 to 2019 – Worked at the famous five-star Hotel De Paris on the front desk and reception. Worked in a high-pressure environment with high-end customers dealing with multiple requests via phone, email and face to face. Also worked in the hotel spa and clothing boutique in an exclusive customer service environment with many personal and tailored requests catered to for in-house guests.
2023 - 2024 - worked as a puppy yoga coordinator in customer service and running classes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
Has a small amount of experience/exposure in Portugal to animals, growing vegetables and rural life with her family. Has also worked with dogs in a puppy yoga job
Driving & vehicles
Has driving licence - however hasn't driven a car for approximately 10 years.
Open to driving on a farm.
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Cook's only basic things for herself has helped a little with children from her own extended family
Hospitality and customer service
Extensive Hospitality experience in 5 star hotels in Monaco.
Hobbies, other skills and interests
Loves spending time with animals, being outdoors in nature, has travelled extensively, reading, movies, media, journalism
Personal
Excellent English, mature, excellent organisation skills and multitasking ability, focused, good communication, works well under pressure, versatile
FITNESS: Moderate fitness level, 177cm & 90kg
DIET / MEDICAL: Experiences anxiety from time to time - takes medication only when needed.
Some ankle pain after standing or walking for long periods of time from previous injuries.,
