Sarah is 19 and from Germany
She completed High School in June 2024 and has qualified for University.
Plans for further study - Veterinary medicine or environmental studies
2020-2021 - Private stable riding instructor, part time, 2 hours per week, volunteer. Some riding lessons with children age 7-9
2023 - 2024 - Part time job selling strawberries on a farm (20 hours/week)
2023- 2024 - IVV Engineer group for traffic management- transportation survey on weekends and holidays.
2023-2024 - Worked on 3 different music festivals - tasks included heling visitors on the information desk, preparing food for artist & worker catering, traffic management and giving directions
an in-school Internship for 2 weeks in a nursery school.
Would like to improve her spoken English and become more outgoing around people. Sarah is really excited for my time in Australia. Keen to get involved with all tasks.

Intermediate horse rider, canters confidently with loose reins
Besides riding on her own in a private stable, she also took riding lessons in a riding school for 4 years (age 14-18) and received the riding badge level 9 which requires being able to ride all speeds / gaits as well as tack up a horse.
Is confident catching and handling horses from the ground and has worked a lot in stables and around horses.
She volunteered in a private stable since she was 10 years old.
Gained experience in taking care of horses and completing stable tasks such as cleaning, & assisted in light medical procedures and treating the horses’ hooves.
In the last nine years she had three horses that she was the primary caretaker for.
Current horse is an ex racehorse. Has experience of riding several different horses at the riding school.
Has focused on dressage and recreational riding, some jumping up to 60cm.
DRIVING, VEHICLES, MECHANICAL
Licence (manual + auto) - 8 months **Can drive however doesn't enjoy driving
PRACTICAL & TRADE SKILLS
Joined a school gardening programme, and was part of a scout group for multiple years where she helped build furniture and small shelters with wood and rope. Enjoys hands on tasks, and keen to learn.
DOMESTIC / CHILDCARE ETC
Can cook well for family and friends, has worked in the kitchen for a big event and prepared food for the artists, workers and volunteers.
Since living on her own for the last two years she cooked for herself everyday and regularly cooked with friends. She also really enjoys baking.
Has some experience with caring for children in her own family, looking after her younger brother, and completed a work experience internship from school at a kindergarten.
HOSPITALITY
Hospitality experience from working at music festivals.
