"I worked as a shop assistant at the station shop that was mainly there for the communities that lived nearby (Imangara and Ali Curung). My collegue and I had to do all jobs that were related to the shop, for instance working with the till, customer service, cooking, pricing, sorting out orders, etc.
Beside the shop, I had to feed the animals that lived on the homestead, like poddys, chickens and ducks. I also had to do housekeeping, kitchen cleaning, gardening, and cooking dinner. We worked from 6:30 am to 5 pm and afterwards, we fed the animals and prepared dinner."
