Beth has worked for the last 2 months for a polo playing farmer near Goondiwindi
Riding in sets, Schooling polo horses, Tacking up for polo. Some cattle experience helping with loading etc
Operated quad bikes. She has really enjoyed this role, has positive employer reports.
The polo season has now finished so she is looking for a new role.
Keen for horse of more general farm / livestock work.

She has a degree from the Royal Agricultural university, Cirencester in equine and agricultural business management.
She is here in Australia to work for a year and gain practical experience to support the knowledge gained in her studies. Her particular areas of interest are sheep and horses, but she is open to all roles which may include livestock.

Lambing assistant , England and Denmark march-may 2023 full time
Horse riding and groom work, Erdyl welsh cob stud stud, Anglesey, Wales. In university holidays, full time
Summer internship: field agronomy and food marketing, the food heroes ltd, summer 2023 10 weeks full time

FARM & LIVESTOCK:
Apart from her 3 years of Agricultural study her farm experience includes management of a lambing shed with 650 ewes in Denmark for 6 months. She has also volunteered on lambing shifts in Oxfordshire, UK.
EQUINE / EQUESTRIAN:
She has been brought up with and around horses, including riding young horses, jumping, and hunting.
She has worked as a sole charge groom and rider during university holidays, on a Welsh cob stud, responsible for day-to-day yard tasks, organisation of vet and farrier, riding and exercise established and young horses, full handling and weaning. (this was approx 25h week)
Considers herself advanced intermediate rider.
Can ride comfortably at all speeds, confident catching and handling horses from the ground.
DRIVING, VEHICLES, MECHANICAL:
Can drive manual, licence for 4 years.
Some experience of quad bike on the sheep properties when lambing.
PRACTICAL & TRADE SKILLS:
Used to practical / physical / manual tasks around the farm. general gardening work
DOMESTIC / COOKING / CHILDCARE ETC
Confident cooking for family and friends, and also for the employers when working on the Welsh cob stud in Anglesey.
Occasional experience of childcare, working as a babysitter when a teenager.

I have experience working with both sheep and horses so i'd like to continue this. I would really enjoy to be able to be involved with using horses to muster etc. but I'm open to trying new things and growing my knowledge in all aspects of farm work. Hoping to work with horses in an agricultural setting.
Hoping to gain second Visa. at some stage, but this is not immediately essential.
