Back Home
Egi is from Ulaanbataar, the capital city of Mongolia.
She completed a degree in urban planning in 2018 and worked for three years as an urban economist in the city. COVID interrupted this, and she decided on a change of direction.
For the last year she has worked full-time in clothing retail.

She has now decided to follow a career in agricultural production systems, to take part in the changes happening within Mongolian agriculture, and so plans to use her time in Australia to gain experience and skills in all aspects of agriculture and country living.

Work in AUS
Egi has been in Australia since February 2024
Egi has worked as a dairy farm hand for nearly 5 months on Clarendon estate dairy farm in Tasmania.
Very positive references are available from the employer. She feels confident driving a manual car. She also have  driven a Kubota tractor, using it to pull cars and lift bins and buckets. Specifically, she has experience using the tractor to feed calves and heifers with grain and minerals. She did this regularly for about three months, four times a week, in various paddocks.

'My first australian job is dairy farm hand and mostly milking cows beside doing everyday farm works such as feeding calves, heifers, driving tractor and cleaning the dairy. I have been doing this farm hand job for almost 4 months.
My main task is milking cows. In this dairy, they have around 750 milking cows. They are being milked two times a day. Morning shift starts 4am and evening shift start 2pm. It takes 4-5 hours to milk all the cows and after cleaning.
Also doing other duties such as feeding calves and heifers with grain and minerals. In order to do it i drive a tractor with bin that full of grain and minerals and drive into their paddocks.
Beside that duties i also making fences, removing fences, giving injection to calves and heifers, doing everyday cleaning around dairy and inside dairy and everyday farm tasks.
