Fabian is from the Black Forest in Germany.
He completed a 4 year study and working apprenticeship as a qualified construction vehicle mechanic (finished in 2020) and has worked full time since then as a site mechanic visiting client sites.
He grew up around his Uncle’s beef farm (50 head) so familiar with farm tasks, typically helping out tor working there 6-8h/wk. His father has a construction company building retaining walls, and he has worked there whenever required and able.
Full driving licence for 5 years, loads of hours on motorbike, tractor, forklift, truck and construction machines. Has manual, technical, building and mechanical skills, including welding.
He is a volunteer firefighter, in the child division since age 10 and in the adult division for the last 5 years. Fit, completely used to physical and workshop environment. 1m80, 75kg.
Aims to experience country life and develop his English, while using his existing skills and gaining new ones, and new experiences.
Looking to work for 3-5 months. Wil consider all roles offered.
