Jose has a degree in Marketing and Communications, and also post graduate L1 and L2 qualifications as a sports coach for surfing.
He has been a surf instructor for his family’s surf school business since age 14. Since age 18 he has been head coach, managing a team of 7 instructors. He has combined this with a marketing role for a German plastic recycling firm.
He hopes to continue a career that combines his passions. For now he is here to do and learn something completely different.
Full driving licence, 5 years, lots of driving minibuses and trailers with the surf school, and riding 50-125cc bikes.
Some basic mechanical experience, carpentry, (making furniture) basic welding up trailers etc, fix and mend surfing equipment, basic car mechanics.
Horses: has taken 40 hours of lessons in the last month, and volunteered full time at the stables at the same time, working with old and young horses, assisting with lessons (some for disabled young people). A keen and competent beginner + rider, keen to do and learn more.
Other Interests are surfing, martial arts, carpentry, cooking and barbecues, (LOVES MEAT) breeding German shepherd dogs.
Very personable and energetic, switched on manner. Professional and interested in everything.
