She completed 1yr of a diploma in animal management before transferring to an apprenticeship in water management with the regional Water Company Wessex Water. She started her apprenticeship age 17, full time, for 3 years, and has since worked as a water technician and environmental sampler in the area around a Nuclear power station for the last 2 years.
Horses and farm work. Competent and keen rider and farm worker.
She has worked weekends on a local farm since age 13, (9yrs) working with cattle, horses, donkeys, alpacas, chicken, goats. (bedding up, helping in the lambing season etc) and also on a campground and riding centre, looking after the riding school horses, sometimes exercising or educating them, and assisting with lessons and trail rides.
Has ben riding (exercising other peoples horses, normally show jumpers) on a friend’s farm since her mid teens, typically 2-3 hrs per week.
Full driving licence 5 yrs, some driving of small trucks and a fair bit of gator driving.
Practical minded and task motivated. Well organised, fun & bubbly personality.
