Currently approaching 2 months on a large NT station as gardener / maintenance man.
Previously a Chef and worked up to pizza restaurant boss, keen and hard worker looking for any role to get himself started in rural AUS. Willing to learn / get stuck in to anything, hopes to be able to develop with machinery / vehicles and also horses at some stage while here.

WORK IN AUS:
Justus has started work at Newcastle Waters, a CPC Property.
I worked as a gardener, I replaced sprinkler systems, up kept the grass on the compound, cut the grass in a lawnmowers. I also fed poddies every day, and I helped sometimes with the feeding of the cattle in the John Deere tractor.
I learned to drive the tractor, I had my own buggy, I drove the lawn mower.
I learned how sprinkler systems work, and how to repair and replace them.
I learned how to feed cows.
He has enjoyed the job and the learning, however he would prefer less isolated and more sociable role if possible.
STORY SO FAR:
Justus is from Holland. He has completed High School and the 2yrs of human resource management degree. Now taking a break to do and learn different things.
He has worked briefly in charity recruitment age 16, and ever since in a pizzeria, gradually working his way up from runner to chef/ boss over the last 5 years. The last 2 years has been full time
A farm work beginner, before arriving in Australia.
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Confident and sociable, he enjoys organising things / events and getting people together, and has good customer service skills / manners. Smiley, easy going, unassuming character. Determined, and a proven worker willing to do the dirty jobs. 180cm & 73kg
HOPING FOR:
Up for any job to get himself started in rural Australia – will suit a more sociable environment – and would like to build up skills with machinery / vehicles.
Is very interested in learning, willing for any type of general farm work, keen to work with horses at some stage.
But will do whatever it takes and work himself up just as he has already done in the Pizzeria.
Looking to work for up to 6 months.
