Lara is s trained pre-primary school teacher with a teaching degree and has worked for 2 years as a full time pre-primary teacher for the last 2 years, and simultaneously in a flexi-job in hospitality work. Along the way she has also had part time roles in retail, as a nanny, gymnastics teacher and ski teacher.
Here in AUS she has worked for 2 planned short stints of a few weeks each at a cattle property near Cunnamulla, helping with all general day to day duties and childcare. She also has spent 2+ months as assistant at the the VisitOz training farm, where her calm, helpful and friendly presence has been very useful.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Intermediate horse rider. Has ridden since age 12 to her late teens, recreational hobby riding only, lessons 1h week, and some stable work. Very keen to learn and do a lot more with horses.
Full driving licence, 6 years, a confident driver. A little exp of Quads, tractors, farm buggies and other vehicles also now, as well as work with cattle, horses, sheep, chooks and a few exotics like Alpacas.
