Emilia is from central Germany.
She has completed high school and plans to study to be a primary school teacher.
Her work experience alludes part-time work in a supermarket (25h per week) for the last two years.
While at school she has worked as a tutor for younger children (age 13 to 16), in the last five years, approximately six hours per week.
She has volunteered in a nursing home for a couple of years when aged 14-16.
For the last five years she has been a volunteer stable hand at her stables / riding school, helping with mucking out stables, feeding horses and maintaining them riding arenas.
For the last three years she has worked at the same venue as a riding instructor, teaching children riding and horse care , and also training and preparing new horses for riding school work. Approximately 15 hours per week.
Worked with horses (training them for riding school) - 3 years. Gave riding lessons for children and teenagers - 2 years. Helping with hay and manure transportation on tractors for a year.
Aims and Motivation
Hopes to build up skills to experience work as a jillaroo, and intends to get fully involved with everything so she can learn the skills and become this.
Also hopes to gain second Visa.
Skills
Considers herself an advanced rider. Can ride comfortably at all speeds, is used to riding a variety of horses, confident catching horses in a panic and handling from the ground. Five years of regular work in stables and around horses.
Experience of dressage, some jumping, preparing horses for riding school (ground work and riding), leading groups in terrain and advising on horses that suit or don't suit the riding school environment
Full driving licence for three years , confident driver
has commuted to school on a 50cc scooter for 3 years, and 1 month on a 150cc scooter in Thailand.
Tractor work - hundred hours plus on small tractors (Kubota) raking riding arenas, relocating hay and pushing manure.
General practical skills developed around the stables; maintaining fences, pastures et cetera
Capable cook for herself. Basic foods. A little childcare experience.
Personal
Loves working with children, is a singer in a band, loves music.
Excellent English, well mannered and smiley, fun personality. Friendly. Naturally confident and easy going. A caring and helpful nature.
Prefers vegetarian diet., 177cm & 61kg
